چکیده

The consequences of traumatic injuries are pulp necrosis, periapical inflammation, and possible external cervical resorption (ECR). concomitant cessation root maturation dentinogenesis in premature teeth result a fragile tooth. Revascularization the might be an alternative treatment option. A 12-year-old patient was referred for retreatment chronic apical periodontitis with acute exacerbation after canal upper central incisor. During gutta-percha removal, ECR detected. First, it closed internally Biodentine, followed by composite closure cone beam computed tomography evaluation. In first session, chemomechanical cleaning aided sodium hypochlorite hyperpure chlorine dioxide, dressed Ca(OH)2 until next session. only low-toxicity, but adequate, bactericide dioxide applied irrigation, before provocation bleeding into canal. blood clots were covered tooth restored filling. 24-month follow-up, clinical signs/symptoms had disappeared, lesion resolved. Increased thickness third decreased size foramen conclusion, regenerative endodontic procedures could potentially used to retreat immature persistent resorption.

Revascularization procedure in an open apex tooth with external root resorption: A case report

External inflammatory root resorption (EIR) represents a challenge in endodontic practice. EIR commonly occurs after dental trauma that results in periodontal ligament injury, pulp necrosis and subsequent infection.  Treatment of EIR is based on disinfecting the root canal system through chemomechanical procedures and then filling it with calcium hydroxide or triple antibiotic paste. Dental tra...

Endodontic Retreatment of a Maxillary First Molar with Unusual Palatal Root Canal Morphology: A Case Report

Introdouction: Variations in root canal morphology pose a challenge for successful endodontic treatment. The root canal anatomy of the maxillary first molar has been often described as three roots with four canals (two mesiobuccal, one distobuccal, and one palatal). The occurrence of two palatal canals in one palatal root is quite rare. This report represents the case of a maxillary first molar...

Management of Tooth with Periapical Lesion and Severe External and Internal Root Resorption - 5 year Follow-Up - Two Case Reports

One of the main principles of endodontic treatment is the three-dimensional root canal filling, with a focus on filling the apical third of the root. The management of cases with periapical lesion and severe resorption internal and external, still remains a clinical challenge. Biological approaches of tissue engineering will yield new diagnostic and therapeutic way to repair soft tissue as well...

Endodontic treatment of a mandibular first premolar with three root canals: a case report

Background: A correct diagnosis of the morphology of the root canal system is crucial in order to ensure a successful root canal treatment. The incidence of mandibular first premolars with three root canals has been reported to be low. This clinical case report describes a case of a successful nonsurgical endodontic management of a mandibular first premolar with three root canals. Case present...
